Guest Editorial : Together, these contributions highlight sets of expertise emerging at the intersection of communication studies and LGBTQ+ studies to document some of the issues that digital media raise for LGBTQ+ communities and to understand their challenges, promises, and complexities. As such, this special issue will interest readers from various disciplines (e.g., sociology, political science, gender studies, science and technology, sexology, anthropology, cultural studies), both for those already working on these topics and those wishing to familiarize themselves with this field of study
