Résumé

Several publications about the synthetic calibration of deterministic hydrologic models show imprecise experimental results. In order to identify the reason(s) behind this lack of accuracy, a similar experiment was conducted, arid it was observed that the precision of obtained results depended upon the strictness of the convergence criterion. Hence circumspection in the interpretation of results of synthetic calibrations when the convergence criterion is not strict is suggested.
