Résumé

This report presents a statistical analysis of the Canadian space economy based upon a geographic subdivision of the territory into 382 distinct units, and data for 142 distinct economic sectors and a variety of socio-economic indicators. The period of study is 1971 to 1996, and the data are derived from Statistics Canada censuses.
