Résumé

1) The culture filtrates of Typhoid bacilli, Paratyphoid A bacillie, Conlonbacillus, and Bacillus subtilis, aged 18 hours or less, aggravate the infection produced by washed microbes injected into mice intraperitoneally.

2) Our filtrates of Typhoid bacillus cultures are not toxic for the mouse at the tested dose of 1 and 2 ml. intravenously, or 3 ml. intraperitonneally.

3) The action of these filtrates has no species specificity: the culture filtrate of a microbe is active upon a few other studied bacteria - with one exception in the case of gaseous gangrene produced by Perfringens bacilli.

4) The "pro-infectious" activity of Typhoid filtrates is not destroyed by heating 30-90 minutes at 100°C

5) Our filtrates of Typhoid cultures do not give the precipitation reaction with antityphoid 0 serum.
