Résumé

In this conclusion, we briefly review the origins and design of the project, and propose a framework for comparative analysis of provincial and territorial cultural policy and administration. With a view to coherence and uniformity, the collaborating authors followed a common approach to writing the chapters, generally comprised of three parts: a presentation of the major sociodemographic , political, economic, and cultural context of each province or territory; a summary and analysis of the history of cultural policies of the jurisdiction; and an analysis of the evolution of “cultural” public administration in the province or territory.
